Echodyne Invests $40 Million in New Radar Manufacturing Facility in Washington State

Echodyne's $40M Radar Facility Boost in WA 🚀

Kirkland, WA – February 2026 — Echodyne, a leading radar platform company, has announced a $40 million investment in a new 86,350-square-foot manufacturing facility in Washington State. The expansion aims to meet rapidly growing global demand for its advanced radar systems.

The new site will provide sufficient manufacturing and warehouse space to produce and ship more than 30,000 radars per year across its product lines. Production is scheduled to begin in summer 2026, and at full capacity, the facility is expected to support more than 200 employees.

Echodyne’s proprietary MESA (metamaterials electronically scanned array) radar technology offers high-fidelity performance with a simple, accessible design, making it suitable for both defense and civilian safety and security applications.

“The extraordinary performance of MESA radar stands in marked contrast to the purposeful simplicity of its design, making high-fidelity radar broadly accessible for defense and civilian safety and security applications,” said Eben Frankenberg, CEO of Echodyne.

The investment underscores Echodyne’s commitment to scaling domestic production in its home state, a longtime hub for technology and advanced manufacturing.
