Valeo Launches $225M Software-Defined Vehicle Plant in Texas

Valeo has broken ground on a new 337,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in McAllen, Texas. The company plans to invest $225 million over five years, creating up to 500 jobs, with production expected to begin in late 2027. The plant will focus on technologies for software-defined vehicles, supporting the automotive industry’s shift toward more digital and connected systems.
