UCB Selects Georgia for First U.S. Biologics Manufacturing Facility

UCB has selected Gwinnett County, Georgia, as the site of its first biologics manufacturing facility in the United States. The company plans to invest $2 billion in the 460,000-square-foot campus, which is expected to create approximately 330 permanent jobs. Announced March 24, the facility will serve as a major biologics production hub for the U.S. market. CEO Jean-Christophe Tellier said the investment reflects confidence in the company’s long-term growth prospects and commitment to expanding manufacturing capabilities closer to patients.
