Chobani Expands La Colombe Plant in Michigan

Chobani announced a multi-phase, $567 million expansion of its La Colombe production facility in Norton Shores, Michigan. Revealed March 24, the project will add more than 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space and create nearly 340 new jobs while retaining 312 existing positions. The expansion will also increase milk purchases from Michigan dairy suppliers, generating additional economic benefits throughout the state’s agricultural sector. Founder and CEO Hamdi Ulukaya highlighted the facility’s longstanding role in producing ready-to-drink coffee beverages.
