Enstrom Mold and Engineering Doubles Injection Molding Footprint in San Marcos, California

Enstrom Opens Injection Molding Facility in San Marcos, CA

Enstrom Mold and Engineering Inc. announced the opening of a new 11,000-square-foot plastic injection molding facility at 245 Trade Street in San Marcos, California. The new building sits directly adjacent to the company’s existing 11,000-square-foot mold design and manufacturing facility at 235 Trade Street.

Double the production footprint

The expansion doubles the company’s total production footprint and brings its total complement of injection molding presses to 20. The presses span clamp tonnages from 28 to 300 tons, with shot sizes ranging from 40 to 500 grams.

Vertically integrated on one campus

Mold design and fabrication take place at the original facility, while molding and assembly happen at the new building next door. Enstrom now operates a fully vertically integrated, Made in the USA production system under one campus, giving customers direct visibility into every stage of production from concept to finished part.

Certified quality

Both facilities are ISO 9001-2015 certified.
