Terrestrial Bio Opens Headquarters and Manufacturing Facility in Boston

Terrestrial Bio, Inc. announced on October 30, 2026 the opening of its new headquarters and manufacturing facility at 250 Western Avenue in Allston, Massachusetts, following a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 28.
Microarray patch production
Located at Allston Labworks, the facility spans more than 40,000 square feet and is designed to support production of Terrestrial’s Tacterra microarray patches for clinical trials and demonstration of commercial-scale production for its lead program, VX-201, which delivers a GLP-1 medicine (semaglutide). The facility integrates automation, robotics, machine vision and advanced analytics.
State grants of more than $2.2 million
The manufacturing expansion received two Massachusetts state grants totaling more than $2.2 million: a $1,417,560 BioBoost Award from the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center and an $850,000 award through the Massachusetts Manufacturing Innovation Initiative (M2I2).
The opening follows a $50 million Series C financing in March 2026 and the start of a Phase 1 clinical trial of VX-201 in July.
