Hewlett Packard Enterprise Invests $75 Million to Expand Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin Campus

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) plans to invest $75 million over the next five years to expand its operations in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. The project is expected to create 75 new high-skill jobs.
More testing, warehousing and manufacturing
The investment at the company’s existing campus will increase testing, warehousing and manufacturing capabilities to support growing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing technologies.
Mark Bakker, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Operations at HPE said:
“Demand for AI and high-performance computing is growing rapidly around the world, and Chippewa Falls plays an important role in helping HPE deliver the technologies our customers rely on every day.”
State incentives
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) authorized up to $5.1 million in performance-based Enterprise Zone tax credits for the project.
John Miller, WEDC Secretary and CEO said:
“HPE is a true success story with deep Wisconsin roots. WEDC has been instrumental in supporting HPE’s growth in Wisconsin, and we are excited to join with them as they open this new chapter.”
