Aleris Nutrition Opens First U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

Brazil-based animal nutrition company Aleris Nutrition is establishing its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Menomonee Falls, Waukesha County, Wisconsin. The project is expected to create 15 jobs.
Yeast fermentation and feed additives
The 15,795-square-foot facility at N52 W13673 Northpark Drive will serve as the company’s U.S. base of operations, supporting yeast fermentation and the production of specialty feed additives for the North American market. Aleris develops yeast-derived ingredients, specialty feed additives and microbiome-focused products for poultry, swine, ruminants, aquaculture and companion animals.
Daniel Morais, CEO of Aleris Nutrition said:
“Aleris has experienced significant growth in the United States in recent years, and that growth naturally led us to consider this market the right location for our international expansion. Establishing operations here will allow us to maintain product consistency while offering our customers greater supply stability.”
Foreign direct investment
John W. Miller, WEDC Secretary and CEO said:
“Aleris’s decision reaffirms Wisconsin’s continued appeal as a destination for foreign direct investment, particularly among companies operating at the intersection of agriculture, biotechnology, food ingredients, and animal health.”
