Stow Group to Build New Facility in Georgia

Belgium-based stow Group, a global leader in industrial storage and automation solutions, has announced a $36 million investment to establish a new 240,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Gordon County, Georgia. The project, set to begin operations in 2026, will create approximately 200 jobs, strengthening the local economy and the company’s U.S. presence.

Located along Highway 41 near Adairsville, the state-of-the-art facility will focus on producing industrial racking systems and customized warehouse storage solutions for industries such as logistics, food and beverage, and life sciences. CEO Jos De Vuyst emphasized the strategic significance: “This new production facility will strengthen our presence in the U.S. and allow us to serve customers faster. It represents a major milestone for stow’s U.S. footprint.”

Plant Manager Michael Morgenroth highlighted the facility’s advanced technology: “We’re excited to ramp up a highly automated production plant with the latest technologies in rack manufacturing. Together with the State of Georgia and Gordon County, we’re developing training plans to provide rewarding career opportunities for local residents.” The plant will offer roles in profiling, stamping, welding, powder coating, automation, assembly, logistics, administration, and management.

Georgia Governor Brian P. Kemp praised the investment, noting, “Georgia’s reliable infrastructure network and strategic location ensure we remain a gateway to opportunity, and companies like stow Group are a big reason why our robust logistics industry continues to deliver results across the state.”
