Tillamook Opens Ice Cream Plant in Illinois

Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA) has begun operations at its first manufacturing facility outside Oregon, located in Decatur, Illinois. The 150,000-square-foot plant is poised to produce an impressive 15.5 million gallons of ice cream annually at full capacity, significantly expanding Tillamook’s reach in the Eastern United States. The facility has already created 50 new jobs, with plans to grow its workforce as production ramps up. David Booth, President and CEO of TCCA, emphasized the strategic importance of the location, stating, “Decatur’s central position provides unparalleled access to our expanding customer base, and this new facility will play a pivotal role in our mission to make Tillamook the preferred ice cream brand for consumers across the Eastern U.S.”
