Silesia Expands U.S. Presence with $40 Million Flavor Facility in Illinois

Silesia, a leading German flavor company, has launched its second U.S. facility in Huntley, Illinois, with a $40 million investment. The 135,000-square-foot flavor innovation and production plant will produce powdered savory and sweet flavors, as well as liquid savory flavors, for distribution across North and South America. This expansion will create 41 new full-time jobs, boosting the local economy. Thomas Ginschel, President of the Americas for Silesia Group, highlighted the collaborative effort behind the project, stating, “The opening of this facility underscores our commitment to innovation and reflects the power of shared vision in delivering high-quality flavor solutions to our customers across the Americas.”
