MAHLE Boosts Lockport Plant with $6.8M Expansion

LOCKPORT, N.Y. – Automotive supplier MAHLE is set to invest $6.8 million in expanding its Lockport facility, introducing a new test center, assembly lines, and enhanced warehousing. The project will create 11 new jobs while retaining 226 existing positions, bolstering the local economy in the transportation and mobility sector.

Vice President Stefan Land highlighted the collaboration with authorities, stating, “We sincerely appreciate the strong support from state and local officials. Their partnership plays a vital role in enabling our growth and strengthening our long-term commitment to the region.”
