Eaton Invests $6.8 Million to Expand North Carolina Fluid Distribution Facility

Middlesex, NC – December 4, 2025 – Power management leader Eaton announced a $6.8 million expansion of its fluid and electrical distribution facility in Middlesex, North Carolina, adding 40,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space and creating 30 new jobs.

The investment will enhance production capabilities and improve delivery times for hydraulic, filtration, and electrical distribution components used across industrial, aerospace, and vehicle markets.

“This expansion reflects our continued confidence in the Middlesex team and our commitment to growing our footprint in North Carolina,” said Traci Melville, president of Eaton’s Fluid and Electrical Distribution Division. “By increasing capacity here, we can serve our customers with even greater speed, efficiency, and reliability.”

Construction is already underway, with the expanded facility expected to be fully operational by mid-2026. The project has received support from local and state economic development incentives.
