TempraMed Opens U.S. Facility for Temperature-Controlled Medical Devices in Florida

Israeli health technology company TempraMed has opened a new manufacturing facility in Florida, significantly expanding its footprint in the United States. The site will focus on producing temperature-controlled storage devices designed to protect sensitive biologic and GLP-1 medications throughout storage and transport, helping ensure drug safety and efficacy for patients. The Florida facility increases TempraMed’s overall production capacity while improving supply chain responsiveness for U.S. healthcare providers, pharmacies, and distributors.
The new plant also supports TempraMed’s growing collaboration with pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly, as demand for temperature-sensitive therapies continues to rise. CEO Ron Nagar said the facility “marks a major step in strengthening our U.S. presence and ensuring we can meet the accelerating needs of healthcare providers, pharmacies, payors, and strategic partners.” He added that local manufacturing will allow the company to scale faster, improve delivery timelines, and better support partners across the U.S. healthcare ecosystem.
