Pierce Manufacturing Invests Over $150 Million in Wisconsin Plants (Wisconsin)

Pierce Manufacturing, a leading fire and emergency vehicle manufacturer and part of Oshkosh Corporation, has announced a significant investment of more than $150 million in its Appleton, Wisconsin, facilities. The investment will focus on enhancing production with cutting-edge robotics and advanced fabrication technologies aimed at improving efficiency and safety. Mike Pack, Executive Vice President, emphasized the importance of these upgrades in reducing lead times and enhancing overall product quality. “These technologies reflect our dedication to continuous improvement and safety, as well as our commitment to delivering fire apparatus to firehouses faster while maintaining the same exceptional level of quality that defines our products,” Pack stated.
