Joby Aviation Expands Manufacturing Footprint With Second Ohio Facility

DAYTON, Ohio — Joby Aviation, Inc. has signed an agreement to acquire a manufacturing facility spanning more than 700,000 square feet in the Dayton, Ohio area.

The new site will significantly expand the company’s production capacity for its electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft as it scales toward commercial operations. The facility complements Joby’s existing manufacturing operations and aligns with its strategy to strengthen U.S. production capacity for advanced air mobility applications.
