Airsys Opens $60M Global HQ Campus in Woodruff, SC

Airsys, a maker of mission-critical cooling systems for data centers, AI and digital infrastructure, officially opened its new global headquarters campus in Woodruff, South Carolina, on May 13.

$60 million and 215 jobs

The 60-acre campus in the Upstate represents a $60 million investment and is expected to create 215 new jobs. Corporate teams are already working on-site, and manufacturing at the facility is slated to begin in the first quarter of 2027.

Zero-water cooling for AI infrastructure

The site will serve as the company’s global hub for high-efficiency, zero-water cooling technologies. It will support manufacturing and engineering across Airsys’ air, liquid and hybrid cooling portfolio, with a focus on high-density thermal management and liquid cooling for AI and edge data centers. Localizing production in South Carolina puts operations closer to North American customers and strengthens supply chain resilience.

Yunshui Chen, Founder and CEO of Airsys said:

“Today marks a major milestone for Airsys as we establish our global headquarters here in Woodruff, South Carolina. This investment reflects our commitment to advancing cooling innovation across the entire spectrum of mission-critical infrastructure.”

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster said:

“By choosing to expand their advanced manufacturing expertise and corporate leadership in Woodruff, Airsys is reinforcing our reputation as a global leader in innovation.”
