Axis Fabrication & Machine Completes $24 Million Manufacturing Facility in Rockford, Tennessee

Axis Fabrication & Machine announced on October 21 the completion of its new 78,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Rockford, Tennessee, a $24 million investment by the company. A grand opening and open house is scheduled for November 4.

From 45,000 to 78,000 square feet

The new facility expands Axis Fab’s footprint from 45,000 to 78,000 square feet, with more equipment to expand its sheet metal and precision machining capabilities and capacity.

Supporting East Tennessee growth

The expansion comes as manufacturing, energy and other companies continue to invest in East Tennessee, positioning Axis Fab to support those businesses and the broader supply chain. Operations moved to the new facility this summer.

Designed for throughput

Lighting, security, shop floor layout, material staging and larger training and meeting spaces were planned to improve operational efficiency and support increased throughput.
