Beehive Industries Announces $70 Million Southwest Ohio Expansion to Scale 3D-Printed Jet Engine Production

Beehive Industries Invests $70M to Expand in Southwest Ohio

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced on July 21 at the Farnborough International Airshow that Beehive Industries will invest $70 million to expand its operations in Southwest Ohio, creating more than 200 new jobs as the company ramps up production of its additively manufactured jet engines for uncrewed aerial defense systems.

Building on a Greater Cincinnati base

The expansion builds on Beehive’s existing operations in the Greater Cincinnati area, which already span multiple facilities.

Acquisitions and an Air Force contract

The announcement follows the company’s recent acquisition of two Ohio machine shops and a $29.7 million U.S. Air Force contract for its Frenzy engine family.

From 500 to 10,000 engines a year

The company aims to produce approximately 500 engines in 2026, scaling toward 10,000 annually by 2028.
