CuBE Packaging Invests $30M+ in St. Charles, Illinois Plant

CuBE Packaging Solutions, a North American manufacturer of premium reusable food containers, announced on October 13 that it is investing more than $30 million to expand its U.S. manufacturing facility in St. Charles, Illinois.

New injection molding lines

The investment includes renovation of the facility and a multi-phase installation of new high-speed injection molding lines with integrated automation to serve growing retail and foodservice demand.

Phases through 2027

The St. Charles facility entered production in late 2025. The initial phase of the expansion is complete and in production, with additional phases planned through 2027 that will create new manufacturing jobs in the Fox Valley region.

A scalable American platform

Philippe Erhart, Chief Executive Officer of CuBE said:

“This investment reflects the strength of our customer relationships and the momentum we are seeing across the U.S. market. St. Charles gives us a scalable American manufacturing platform, brings us closer to our customers, and provides the capacity, automation, and infrastructure to support their growth for years to come.”
