Dominion Packaging Expands in Henrico, VA With $25M Project

Consumer packaging manufacturer Dominion Packaging, Inc. will invest $25 million to expand its operations in Henrico County, Virginia, creating more than 100 new jobs.

New 188,000-square-foot facility

The company will move its finished goods and distribution operations into a 188,000-square-foot facility at the Airport Logistics Center in the Seven Hills area. The move frees up room to grow manufacturing at the company’s adjacent production site. Dominion Packaging specializes in folding cartons and consumer packaging products and has operated in Henrico for more than twenty years.

Tommy Piper, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Dominion Packaging said:

“Moving finished goods and distribution into our new Seven Hills facility gives us the room to grow manufacturing right next door, add well-paying jobs, and keep delivering the quality and service that globally recognized brands expect from us.”

Local partnership

The project was supported by Henrico County and the Henrico Economic Development Authority.
