Doppelmayr USA Opens 160,000 Sq Ft Headquarters and Manufacturing Campus in Salt Lake City

Doppelmayr USA, the U.S. subsidiary of ropeway maker Doppelmayr Group, announced on October 23, 2026 the opening of its new headquarters, manufacturing and training facility in Salt Lake City, Utah.

A larger campus for ski lifts and ropeways

The 160,000-square-foot campus near Salt Lake City International Airport substantially expands Doppelmayr USA’s production, warehousing, engineering and training capabilities. It will support engineering, manufacturing, training, customer service and apprenticeship development for customers across the United States and Canada. Doppelmayr has manufactured ski lifts in Utah since the early 2000s.

New jobs in Utah

The company said the facility will create additional skilled manufacturing and technical training jobs. When Utah’s Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity approved an incentive for the expansion in 2024, it projected 130 new jobs over 10 years.
