FANUC Plans New Robot Manufacturing Capacity in Michigan

FANUC America announced plans to invest $90 million in a new manufacturing facility in Michigan. The project includes acquiring property and constructing an 840,000-square-foot building expected to be completed in late 2027. Company officials said the expansion will create approximately 225 jobs and provide production-ready capacity for increased U.S. robot manufacturing. President and CEO Mike Cicco said the investment strengthens domestic manufacturing capabilities while supporting growing demand for industrial automation technologies across multiple sectors.
