Fluence Expands U.S. Manufacturing with New Arizona Facility

Goodyear, AZ – Fluence Energy has kicked off production at its latest manufacturing hub in Goodyear, Arizona, bolstering the U.S. supply chain for grid-scale battery energy storage systems. The facility focuses on producing enclosures using American steel and battery management system (BMS) hardware, aligning with Fluence’s push to localize key component production. This addition complements the company’s existing U.S. network across Arizona, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, and partnerships in South Carolina.
“By rapidly expanding our access to U.S. manufacturing, we’re helping our customers navigate complex global supply chain risks while reinforcing our commitment to delivering safe, reliable, and cybersecure energy storage systems at scale,” stated John Zahurancik, President of Fluence Americas. With $700 million invested in domestic manufacturing, Fluence anticipates creating 1,200 manufacturing jobs and 450 construction roles in 2025, signaling robust future expansion in the clean energy sector.
