Fornidos Home Systems to Open Panelized Housing Factory at Gateway South in St. Louis

Fornidos Home Systems Inc. has signed a lease for a new 55,000-square-foot manufacturing facility at Gateway South, an approximately 100-acre redevelopment district in St. Louis, Missouri. The company will build panelized housing components for the region at the site.

New light-manufacturing building

The planned 54,600-square-foot building at 1120 S. Second Street will have 32-foot clear heights and dock-high loading. ARCO is the design-builder. Construction is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2027, with delivery in the fourth quarter of 2027. Fornidos plans a temporary St. Louis operation in the meantime.

Factory-built panels

Fornidos makes factory-built foundation, wall and roof panels designed for rapid on-site assembly. The company joins Schaeffer Electric and Construction Forum at Gateway South, which is being developed as a construction innovation district.
