IKO Opens New Fiberglass Manufacturing Facilities in South Carolina

IKO celebrated the grand opening of a new fiberglass manufacturing facility and glass mat plant in Chester County, South Carolina. The March 25 opening marks the completion of more than $500 million in investment and is expected to create nearly 200 local jobs. The facilities strengthen IKO’s vertically integrated roofing materials supply network and expand domestic manufacturing capacity. CEO David Koschitzky described the project as a major milestone that supports the company’s long-term growth strategy and manufacturing footprint.
