Mega Metal Selects Fairfield County for First South Carolina Operation

Mega Metal, a leading copper wire manufacturer based in Turkey, has announced a $51 million investment to establish its first South Carolina facility in Fairfield County. The 136,500-square-foot plant, located at 364 Blue Granite Parkway in Ridgeway, will produce superfine electrolytic oxygen-free (EOF) copper wire and create approximately 200 new jobs. Operations are slated to begin in September 2025. “This investment in Fairfield County is not only a manufacturing milestone – it is a reflection of our long-term commitment to the North American market,” said Cuneyt Turgut, Mega Metal Inc.
