nVent Opens 400,000 Sq Ft E-House Plant in Goodyear, Arizona

nVent Electric announced on October 27 the lease of a new 400,000-square-foot manufacturing site in Goodyear, Arizona, to expand its capacity to build engineered buildings, including prefabricated electrical houses (e-houses).

Production in mid-2027

Production is anticipated to begin in mid-2027, adding at least 200 new manufacturing jobs in the Phoenix metro area.

Serving data centers and utilities

The facility will help customers accelerate the deployment of critical power infrastructure for data centers, power utilities and other infrastructure projects. It follows a 58,000-square-foot expansion nVent started in Southeastern Kansas in August.

Growing demand

Sara Zawoyski, President, nVent Systems Protection said:

“Demand for our engineered building products continues to grow as customers invest in grid modernization, power reliability and other critical infrastructure projects. This new facility expands our ability to serve customers with the speed, scale and technical expertise needed to support increasingly complex projects that require faster deployment and execution.”
