Pegatron Opens Electronics Plant in Texas

Georgetown, TX – Taiwanese electronics manufacturing leader Pegatron held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday to officially inaugurate its expansive new 168,784-square-foot production facility in Georgetown, Texas. The $35 million state-of-the-art plant will focus on delivering advanced electronic assemblies tailored for North American customers and is anticipated to generate hundreds of high-quality jobs in the region, boosting the local economy.

Vice President Charles Lin expressed enthusiasm at the event, declaring, “We are thrilled to inaugurate this state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the heart of Texas… this significant step allows Pegatron to move forward with providing our customers better solutions and services in the U.S., while strengthening supply chain resilience for key partners.”
