Safran Inaugurates Expanded Sarasota Aerospace Facility

Safran Electrical & Power has unveiled an expanded aerospace manufacturing facility in Sarasota, Florida. The March 18 expansion brings the site to 140,000 square feet and enhances capabilities in research, development, manufacturing, maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations. The facility supports production of aerospace electrical systems, including power generation, conversion, and protection technologies. CEO Bruno Bellanger said the project underscores Safran’s commitment to strengthening its U.S. operations while supporting the growing aerospace industry with advanced electrical power solutions.
