Waaree Solar Americas Starts 1.6 GW of New Solar Module Production in Brookshire, Texas

Waaree Solar Americas Inc., the wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of India’s Waaree Energies, began commercial production on two new solar module manufacturing lines at its facility in Brookshire, Texas, on October 29, 2026.

Two 800 MW lines

Each new line has an annual capacity of 800 MW, adding a combined 1.6 GW of solar module production.

Brookshire reaches 3.2 GW

The expansion brings the aggregate annual installed capacity of the Brookshire facility to 3.2 GW, strengthening domestic supply of solar modules for the U.S. market.
